Federal service court

The federal service court is a service court for judges and professional courts . As a special senate of the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe , it decides on questions of disciplinary and service law from federal judges and members of the Federal Court of Auditors . The legal basis are Sections 61–68 of the German Judges Act and Section 18 of the Federal Audit Office Act . The federal service court also decides on appeals against judgments of the service courts for judges of the federal states.

The service court consists of the chairman, two deputy chairmen and two permanent assessors . In addition, two other non-permanent assessors who must come from the same branch of the court as the person concerned or from the Federal Audit Office are always involved in proceedings.
