Eva Petrus-Pekny
Eva Petrus-Pekny (born July 1, 1924 in Linz as Eva Grinzinger ; † June 14, 2020 ) was an Austrian actress and author .
Life
Eva Petrus-Pekny was born in 1924 as the daughter of the later Vice Mayor of Linz, Emil Grinzinger . She studied acting and dance at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz and was then engaged as an actress at various stages in Austria and Germany.
She was married to the actor Romuald Pekny and together with him initiated the Aussee cultural summer in 1987 . Petrus-Pekny lived in Linz. In 2003 and 2012, respectively, she published autobiographical books.
In 2010 she was awarded the culture medal of the state of Upper Austria.
