Palmer-Charrette started in Cantley in February 2012 for the first time in the Nor-Am Cup and finished 58th in the sprint. In the 2015/16 season he achieved his first podium finishes in the Nor-Am Cup with second place in the pursuit in Mont Sainte-Anne and first place in the 20 km mass start race in Prince George and ninth place in the at the end of the season Overall rating. In the following season he took two wins and also took third place in the Nor-Am-Cup three times and thus achieved second place in the overall standings. At the 2017 U23 World Championships in Soldier Hollow , he finished 34th in the 15 km freestyle, 33rd place in sprint and 26th place in skiathlon . He made his debut in the World Cup in March 2017 at the World Cup final in Québec . He came in 47th place in the sprint, 65th place in the 15 km mass start race and 57th place in the pursuit, in 60th place overall. In the 2017/18 season he finished second in the sprint in Rossland and first in the 50 km mass start race and third in the sprint at the Canadian championships in Thunder Bay . He achieved third place in the overall ranking of the Nor-Am-Cup. In the 2018/19 season, he finished second in the 15km freestyle in Canmore and third in the 30km mass start race and first in the sprint in Sherbrooke , making it fifth overall. At the season highlight, the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tyrol , he came in 46th place over 15 km classic, 45th place in the skiathlon and tenth place together with Len Väljas in the team sprint. In March 2019, he came 59th at the World Cup finals in Québec. In the following season he came with two first places and a third place, on the second place in the overall standings of the Nor-Am-Cup.
