Evangelical chapel

The Protestant chapel is a listed church building in Denklingen , a town in Reichshof in the Oberbergisches Kreis ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

History and architecture

The chapel is in the former courtyard . The small plastered quarry stone hall with a three-sided end was built between 1693 and 1694 as a simultaneous church. There is a roof turret above the west portal, which is now walled up . Instead of the originally baroque wooden barrel vault , a flat ceiling has recently been added.

Furnishing

  • The altar and the pulpit are still from the time the church was built
  • The three-tower organ front from the beginning of the 18th century probably came from the workshop of C. Nohl
