The Evangelical Church Christerode is a listed church building in Christerode , a district of the city of Neukirchen in the Schwalm-Eder district ( Hesse ).

The western part of the hall building with a hexagonal roof turret dates from the Middle Ages . The eastern part was built in the 18th century. The portal is marked with 1750 and a window on the south side with 1798. A mighty wooden column supports the flat ceiling above a longitudinal beam . A few years ago the church was extensively renovated due to the acute danger of collapse. The organ was built around 1912 and renovated in 2001. On the outside wall of the church there are three plaques with the names of the villagers who died in the wars.
