The previous church burned down during the Thirty Years War . The small plastered half-timbered building was erected in the center of the village in 1743. The fresco painting from 1743 shows a pelican soaking its young with its own blood; the inscription reads: "Christ sprinkled us with his blood as the pelican does his young." The galleries and the pulpit are carved , the gallery balustrades are decorated with floral decorations by the church painter Georg Ernst Justus Kayser . The equipment comes mainly from the construction period.
