description
Church building
The church stands on a slope in Unter-Inzlingen. The very simple, rectangular building with a gable roof almost looks like a residential building. A free-standing bell tower northeast of the nave is connected to it via an intermediate building. On the long sides of the main building, seven square windows are arranged on the upper floor.
The tower is covered with a gable roof parallel to the nave and has a small cross on the roof edge. Rectangular sound openings open on all sides. There are community rooms in the basement of the church.
Interior and equipment
The interior is adapted to the wooden ceiling of the sloping roof and braced by beams. The old and new buildings of the nave are connected by a sliding door. There is a semicircular triumphal arch between the somewhat wider choir and the nave. The glass picture and pulpit are reminiscent of the Bernese priest Franz Kolb (around 1470–1535) , who came from Inzlingen . The parish of Bern donated both. Baptismal font, altar, cross and candlestick adapt to the simple style of the church.
organ
The organ was made in 1965 by the organ builder Wilhelm Wagner from Grötzingen . She initially had her place on the gallery, but was transferred to the choir in 1979. The instrument works with a mechanical action and has four registers , divided between a manual and a pedal .
Bells
The three-part bell is composed as follows:
No. | Chime | Casting year | Caster |
---|---|---|---|
1 | G' | 1963 | Bachert, Karlsruhe |
2 | H' | 1963 | Bachert, Karlsruhe |
3 | d ′ ′ | 1963 | Bachert, Karlsruhe |
