Evangelical Church Möllbergen

The Evangelical Church in Möllbergen , a district of Porta Westfalica , is a branch church of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Holzhausen and Holtrup an der Porta, which belongs to the Vlotho parish of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia .

history

The village of Möllbergen has been part of the Holzhausen parish since the Middle Ages . In 1949 a parish with its own parish was established for Möllbergen , and in 1952 a former factory building was converted into a parish hall.

This parish hall was converted into a church building in 1962 . In 1989 the church was completely renovated and redesigned.

The organ was built by Steinmann in Vlotho, the two bells in the tower date from 1961.
