Evangelical Church Mildenau
The Protestant church in Mildenau , a municipality in the Erzgebirge district in Saxony , was built from 1834 to 1839. The church at Dorfstrasse 76 is a protected cultural monument . The consecration of the church, which seats 1114 people, was celebrated on October 27, 1839.
The classicist hall with a north tower, built according to plans by the master builder Christian Friedrich Uhlig (1774–1848), is one of the largest village churches in the Ore Mountains . After the fire in 1945, the reconstruction was essentially based on the historical model.
