The Evangelical Lutheran parish church Loipersbach AB is located in the municipality of Loipersbach in Burgenland in the Mattersburg district in Burgenland . The parish church belongs to the AB Burgenland superintendent .

history

It is assumed that Loipersbach, politically part of Sopron in the early 16th century , was already a parish shortly before the Counter Reformation in 1663. The tolerance patent of Joseph II in 1781 only allowed parishes with at least 100 Protestant families, which Loipersbach did not achieve, with which Loipersbach became part of the Protestant parish Ágfalva . After the First World War, the daughter community of Loipersbach was raised to an independent parish in 1932 due to the land grabbing of Burgenland .

architecture

The large school , built in 1888, was converted into a parish church in 1950. The tower was modified in 1958.
