Evangelical parish church in Markt Allhau
The Evangelical Lutheran parish church Markt Allhau AB is located in the market town of Markt Allhau in the Oberwart district in Burgenland . The church belongs to the Superintendentur AB Burgenland and is a listed building .
history
The tolerance prayer house was built between 1784 and 1786. The south tower was added in 1832/1833.
Building
The prayer house is a tall, classicist building with a square floor plan (approx. 20 by 20 meters). The tower on the southern gable front has a high onion helmet.
The vaulted overall church space is divided horizontally by a three-sided gallery on four central columns with four gallery staircases, some of which are in the surrounding wall.
Furnishing
The pulpit altar on the north side dates from 1795. A marble font is from 1830.
