The Evangelical Lutheran parish church Pöttelsdorf AB is located on the main road in the west of the municipality Pöttelsdorf in the Mattersburg district in Burgenland . The parish church belongs to the Superintendentur AB Burgenland and is a listed building .

history

The church was built in 1900/1901 according to plans by the architect Ludwig Schöne .

architecture

The three-axis portal front carries a high three-storey facade tower with a pointed gable helmet. A transept with gable facades and a choir with beveled edges adjoin the nave. The facade shows a richly profiled structure in Romanesque and Gothic forms.

The three-aisled, three-bay hall church has groin vaults between belts on high bundle pillars. The gallery has two floors. The triumphal arch is ogival. The choir has five corners inside.
