The Evans Piedmont Glacier is a broad sheet of ice shelves on the Scott coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located between Tripp Island and Cape Archer .
It was first circled in October 1957 by the New Zealand Northern Survey Party as part of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958). It is named after the British seaman Edgar Evans (1876-1912), a member of the five-man South Pole team around Robert Falcon Scott during the Terra Nova Expedition (1911-1913).
