Everett J. Nelson

Everett John Nelson (born October 18, 1900 in Castle Rock , Washington, † September 29, 1988 ) was an American philosopher .

Nelson taught from 1930 to 1952 at the University of Washington and from 1952 to 1970 at Ohio State University .

Nelson was President of the Pacific from 1946 to 1947 and President of the Western Division of the American Philosophical Association from 1966 to 1967 . He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa .

In 1972 he published Metaphysical Conditions of Induction in German in the journal Philosophia naturalis .
