Twin Shadow (real name: George Lewis Jr. , * 1983 in the Dominican Republic ) is an American synth-pop musician.
George Lewis was born in the Dominican Republic and grew up in Florida . He made his first musical experiences in the church choir. In 2000 he moved to Boston , where he formed the band Mad Man Films . In 2006 he moved to Brooklyn , where he started as Twin Shadow . His debut album Forget was produced by grizzly bear bassist Chris Taylor.
