EverEve is a band from Lörrach .
The name of the band refers to a poem from Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings .
Band history
The band was founded by Tom Sedotschenko ( vocals ), Stephan Kiefer ( guitar ), Thorsten Weissenberger (guitar), Stefan Müller ( bass ), Marc Werner ( drums ) and Michael Zeissl ( keyboard ).
EverEve first appeared on a split album by the band Parracide . With another demo tape she got a contract with Nuclear Blast , where she made her debut with the album Seasons in 1997. A little later their rehearsal room burned out completely, but the semi-concept album Stormbirds was released the next year .
In 1999 the singer Tom Sedotschenko left the band and took his own life a few months later. Benjamin Richter stepped in as a substitute for the production of the Regret album . In 2000 Marc Werner was replaced on drums by Martin Claas and the band switched to Massacre Records .
Keyboardist Michael Zeissl took over the vocals from Benjamin Richter, and the next album E-mania was produced. In 2001 the band lost another founding member, bassist Stefan Müller , and O-IQ stepped in to record .enetics . In 2004 guitarist Stephan Kiefer quit, the band remained as a quartet and in 2005 recorded the album Tried and Failed .
In December 2010 EverEve released a new EP called "Emission" with three new songs, which were available for free as a download in the .MEDIA section of the then official band website. The band's official website has meanwhile disappeared.
In 2014, a chain of stores for women's clothing rebranded to the name EVEREVE, which would create a name conflict. It is unclear whether the band was dissolved, changed its name, or whether a legal dispute with the fashion label caused the website to disappear.
