Everilda von Pütz , full name Eleonora Felicitas Pütz zu Pütz, b. von Klenze (born November 21, 1843 in Munich ; † July 20, 1926 , ibid) was a German writer.

biography

Everilda von Pütz was born as the daughter of the Bavarian officer and chamberlain Hippolyt von Klenze (1814–1888) and his wife Emily Georgiana, born in England, from England. Farmer (1814-1878). The father officiated as commander of the 3rd Bavarian Infantry Regiment and then of the 2nd Bavarian Infantry Regiment "Crown Prince" . The famous architect Leo von Klenze (1784–1864) was her grandfather.

In 1873 she married the Innsbruck district captain Karl von Pütz, on October 7, 1874 she became a mother and on November 2 of the same year her husband died.

The young widow moved to Munich to live with her parents and no longer married. Since the death of her parents, she lived in a very sickly state, completely withdrawn, with her son and a sister.

Everilda von Pütz worked as a writer and wrote popular stories and novels, often with a religious background. Most of her works were published by the Catholic JP Bachem Verlag , Cologne .

The noblewoman died in Munich in 1926 and was buried in the Altes Südfriedhof , in the family grave of her grandfather Leo von Klenze.
