Evert van der Horst

Evert van der Horst (* 1930 or 1931 ; † July 16, 2011 in Arnhem ) was a Dutch football player who was active as a professional at Vitesse Arnhem .

Career

Van der Horst first played in Amersfoort at HVC. From here, the winger , who was mostly used on the left, moved to Vitesse in Arnhem in 1955. After a season in the top division, Vitesse was divided into the Eerste Divisie when the professional leagues were introduced ; During van der Horst's active days, the club should no longer be first class, but after relegation to the Tweede Divisie , van der Horst was able to climb back to the second highest league with the club in 1966, in which he was again in his last professional year 1966/67 played.
