Ewa Szykulska (born September 11, 1949 in Warsaw ) is a Polish film , television and theater actress .

Life

Szykulska graduated from the Aleksander Zelwerowicz Theater Academy in Warsaw in 1971 . In March 1973 she made her debut on the stage of the Studio Theater in Warsaw as Małgorzata in the play Gulgutier by Maria Czanerle . In the following years she played in numerous theaters in Warsaw, Wroclaw and Poznan . It became popular in the 1970s and 1980s through many film and television productions at home and socialist abroad . About roles in some DEFA films such as Signals - A Space Adventure (1970), Don Juan, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 78 (1979) or But Daddy! (1973–1979) she was also known in the GDR . In the early 2000s she starred in Polish sitcoms and comedy series.

In 1985 she was awarded the 2nd Class Prize of the Ministry of Culture for her outstanding film and theater productions and in the same year the Polish Cross of Merit .

Szykulska was in a relationship with the director Janusz Kondratiuk and is now married to Zbigniew Pernej. The marriages were childless.
