Ezz Steel
Ezz Steel is the largest Egyptian steel manufacturer. Until the Egyptian revolution it belonged to Ahmed Ezz . The main factory (opened in 1986) is located in Decheila in the west of Alexandria . Before privatization in 2001, it belonged to the ANSDK (Alexandria National Iron and Steel Company).
The plant near Alexandria has 3 direct reduction furnaces and 1 electric steel mill with a thin slab caster .
