Madinat al-Ashir min Ramadan ( Arabic مدينة العاشر من رمضان, DMG Madīnat al-ʿĀšir min Ramaḍān , German city of the 10th Ramadan , English 10th of Ramadan City or El Fasher City ) is a city in the Egyptian governorate of Ash-Sharqiyya . It is one of the first and largest satellite cities in Egypt.

The city is located on the desert highway that runs from Cairo to Ismailia , 46 km from Cairo and 20 km from Bilbeis in the Nile Delta . The nearest (air) ports are the international airport of Cairo (approx. 45 km away), the port of Port Said (approx. 140 km), the port of Suez (approx. 90 km) and the port of Ain Suchna (approx. 135 km).
