Ezzatolah Entezami (also Ezatollah Entezami ; Persian عزت‌الله انتظامی; * June 21, 1924 in Tehran ; † August 17, 2018 ibid) was an Iranian actor .

Career

In 1941 Ezzatolah Entezami was on stage for the first time as an actor. He attended the Hanover University of Music and Theater , where he graduated in 1958. In 1969 he made his debut as a film actor in Dariush Mehrjui's film The Cow . The film received the Golden Hugo at the Chicago International Film Festival in 1971 .

Entezami was one of the most famous Iranian actors. He has worked in numerous films and worked alongside Dariush Mehrjui with well-known Iranian directors such as Mohsen Makhmalbaf , Ali Hatami and Nasser Taghvai . At the International Fajr Film Festival in Tehran, he was twice named best actor.
