Fåset (Norwegian: settlement on the Få) is a small village in the municipality of Tynset in Fylke Innlandet .

About 550 people live there. The village has its own primary school (1st to 7th year) and a kindergarten. The traditionally strong handball, ski and soccer teams should be mentioned in terms of sport. The two music corps, the Fåset Hjerneløsekorps and the Fåset Skolelag, are professionally run and have existed for generations.

Fåset is located at the confluence of the Få in the Glomma (alternative spelling Glåma ). The town of the same name is located further up the valley in Fådalen. Fådalen ends in Savalen , an important winter sports and tourist destination.
