Félix Cruz Barbosa (born April 4, 1961 in Torreón , Coahuila ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender and later football coach .

Cruz Barbosa began his professional career in 1979 in the service of Pumas de la UNAM , with whom he was under contract until 1987. After two short-term guest appearances for the Club de Fútbol Atlante (1987/88) and the Tigres de la UANL (1988/89), he worked for the Rayados de Monterrey for four years before starting his active career in 1993/94 in the ranks of the Toros Neza let out.
National team
Cruz Barbosa made his international debut in a friendly game against Canada on December 6, 1983, which was won 5-0. His last international match was on July 7, 1991 in an encounter for the CONCACAF Gold Cup 1991 against Costa Rica, which "el Tri" won 2-0 and thus secured third place.
