FW Friederich

Fritz Wilhelm Friederich (born March 25, 1912 in Munich ; † August 14, 1993 ) was a German painter and graphic artist .

Life

Friederich was born in Munich and trained as a wood and stone sculptor from 1926 to 1931. From 1930 to 1931 he also studied for four semesters at the State Granite Sculptor School in Wunsiedel , then he worked as a sculptor at the State Cathedral Building in Regensburg until 1935 . After that he was entrusted with graphic and artistic tasks for various state and local authorities until his retirement in 1974.

Exhibitions with works by FW Friederich took place from 1946, mainly in the Allgäu and at his place of residence Heilbronn . Several of his works were bought by the public sector, including the government of Swabia , the government of North Württemberg, the city of Kempten and the city of Heilbronn.
