The Government of Swabia (RvS) is a state middle authority in Augsburg with around 600 employees. Among other things, it is responsible for the general supervision of the state authorities in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia as well as the legal and technical supervision of the same, for example over the Swabian regional authorities . She represents the Bavarian State Government in Swabia and vice versa Swabia in the Bavarian State Government.
The tasks of the RvS include the bundling and coordination of administrative work. In addition, she assumes an advisory function for the authorities and offices and at the same time oversees them. It decides on the allocation of grants and is the contact person for legal questions.
