Ludwig Schmid (District President)

Ludwig Schmid (born August 20, 1943 ) is a Bavarian lawyer and administrative officer .

Life

Schmid studied law and began his professional career in 1972 with the government of Swabia and the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior in Munich. After working at the Augsburg District Office, he completed the course in administrative management of the Bavarian State Government in 1980. After a number of management positions in the State Ministry of the Interior, at the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the federal government in Bonn , in the Bavarian State Chancellery and, for a short time, as head of the central department in the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior, he held the office of Regional President from June 1993 to July 2008 Swabia. In retirement he was u. a. active as chairman of the Kolping-Bildungswerk Augsburg .
