Paul von Praun (born August 3, 1859 in Schillingsfürst , † February 16, 1937 in Munich ) was a Bavarian administrative officer .

Life

Paul von Praun came from the Protestant Nuremberg patrician family Praun . From 1876 to 1880 he studied law in Munich. From 1880 to 1883 the practice followed at the district court, district office and regional court in Nuremberg . After the state bankruptcy in 1883, he became an accessist to the government of Middle Franconia (KdI) in 1884, district office assessor in Brückenau in 1885 and in Forchheim in 1889. In 1893 he became a government assessor in the government of Upper Bavaria, and in 1896 he worked for the secret chancellery of Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria . In 1897 he was appointed to the government council and on October 15, 1900 to the senior government councilor. From March 9, 1902, he was Ministerialrat, and from June 1, 1906, President of Swabia . He retired on October 1, 1923.
