Tianjin FAW Xiali Automobile from the People's Republic of China (part of China FAW Group ) produced this sedan since summer 2009 and markets it under the FAW brand and the Tianjin sub-brand . It is not clear when production ended, but the last saved version of the website is from 2019.
The N5 ranks in the small car class and closes the gap between the Xiali N3 and the Xiali Vela. The Japanese sister model of the N5 is being marketed in some markets as the seventh generation Daihatsu Charade. The Chinese N5 and the Japanese Charade are only available as a notchback version.
