Callander FC was founded in 1872. In May 1872, Callander FC became the Glasgow Rangers' first opponent . The club took part in the 1873/74 season , the first edition of the Scottish Cup . In the first round, the team from the Highlands was eliminated against Alexandra Athletic . The association was dissolved in 1874.
