The FC Ensdorf (full name: Fußballclub Ensdorf eV 1912 ) is a sports club from Ensdorf in the Saarlouis district . The first soccer team plays in the Saarlouis district league. Before that, the club played for one year in the then second-class regional league Southwest and five years in the then third-class Oberliga Südwest .

FC Ensdorf was founded in 1912. In 1935 all local clubs were merged to form VfL Ensdorf . After the Second World War , FC Ensdorf was re-established.
Between 1947 and 1951 the team played in the Saarland Honor League . In 1963 , he was promoted to what is now the Saarland Amateur League . With a team consisting almost entirely of their own, FC Ensdorf became champions of the amateur league in 1973 and rose to the regional league southwest. With only one win of the season (scored 2: 1 on the first match day over Sportfreunde Eisbachtal ) with 6 draws and 23 defeats, they were immediately relegated.
1978 FC Ensdorf missed the qualification for the amateur league southwest. As champions of the Saarland Association League, Ensdorfer rose to the league in 1979, but only reached midfield positions. In 1982 FC Ensdorf won the Saarland Cup with a 1-0 win over SV Elversberg . The decline in 1983 could be corrected straight away. After relegation in 1985, the club said goodbye to higher-class football. Since relegation in 2012, FC Ensdorf has played in the district league A. There, they were promoted to the Saarlouis district league in 2015.
FC Ensdorf took part in the DFB Cup twice. In the 1976/77 season in the first round after a 0-1 defeat at SC Victoria Hamburg . In 1982/83 the Ensdorfer failed in the first round with 1: 3 at home against Union Solingen .
FC Ensdorf was also able to celebrate successes in the youth field. The B-youth took part in the German championships three times. In 1981 the team reached the quarter-finals, where they were eliminated by Eintracht Frankfurt . In contrast, the Ensdorfer were eliminated in the second round in 1982 and 1984 . In 1991 the A-youth reached the DFB-Juniors-Club Cup .
