The Football Club Olympique Eischen was a football club from the Luxembourg municipality of Hobscheid with around 120 members.
history
Founded in 1917 under its current name, the club was called FK Eischen from 1940 during the German occupation in World War II . In 1944 it was renamed FC Olympique .
The club played from 1980 to 1983 and 1984 to 1989 in the highest Luxembourg league, the national division . After relegation in 1989, there was a fall into the fifth division. In 2003 Olympique Eischen played third class.
In 2007, FC Olympique Eischen merged with the neighboring club CS Hobscheid to form the newly founded FC Alliance Aischdall 07 .
successes
The greatest successes in the club's history were promotion to the national division in 1980 and reaching the national cup final a year later, which was lost 5-0 to record champions Jeunesse Esch .
