The FC Alliance Aischdall Hobscheid-Eischen is a Luxembourg football club from Hobscheid . The club plays its home games in the Stade "Koericherberg" with a capacity of 2,120 spectators, the home ground of the predecessor club CS Hobscheid .

history

Alliance Aischdall was founded on March 30, 2007 through the merger of CS Hobscheid and FC Olympique Eischen . In 2010, the club stood before the promotion to the honorary doctorate for the first time , but failed in the playoff with 3: 4 on penalties to US Hostert .

In 2012, as champions of the 1st Division - 1st District , the club was promoted to the honorary doctorate, from which Alliance Aischdall had to relegate to the 1st Division after two years after a 2: 4 defeat on penalties in the barrack game against Minerva Lintgen .

CS Hobscheid

Cercle Sportif Hobscheid was founded in 1932. The club colors were yellow and black. From 1996 to 2002 CS Hobscheid played in the top division of Luxembourg and took part in the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1998 , 2000 and 2001 . There the team failed in the first round. The greatest success in the national cup competition was reaching the semi-finals in the 2000/01 season. At the end of the last season as an independent club in 2006/07, CS Hobscheid finished 4th in the third-class 1st division.

FC Olympique Eischen

Founded in 1917, the greatest successes in the club's history were promotion to the highest Luxembourg league, the national division , in 1980 and reaching the national cup final in 1981, which was lost 5-0 to Jeunesse Esch .

From 1980 to 1983 and from 1984 to 1989 Olympique Eischen was a member of the national division. At the time of the merger, the club played in the third class 1st division.
