history
US Hostert was founded on March 24, 1946.
The club never played higher than third rate until 2006, when it was promoted to an honorary doctorate. The immediate relegation to the 1st division followed. 2008, the immediate return to the second division managed by a 1: 0 in Barragespiel against FC Cebra 01 .
After relegation as third from bottom in the barrage game against Alliance Aischdall Hobscheid-Eischen could just be averted by a 4-3 win on penalties , the team rose at the end of the 2010/11 season as third in the honorary doctorate with a 6-4 on penalties against the 12th of the BGL Ligue FC Wiltz 71 for the first time in the club's history in the highest Luxembourg league.
In the 2011/12 season , the team led by Portuguese coach Carlos Teixeira managed only two wins and two draws in 26 games, so that US Hostert had to leave the BGL Ligue after just one season as the bottom of the table. In 2014 he returned to the national division. This was followed by direct relegation at the end of the 2014/15 season .
After a fourth place in the 2015/16 season, a year later he was third in the honorary doctorate with a 6-4 penalty shootout in the barrage game against the third-bottom of the BGL Ligue Jeunesse Canach for the third time to be promoted to the BGL Ligue . The 2017/18 season began with a surprising 2-1 win against reigning champions F91 Dudelange . In the further course of the season, the club was never in danger of relegation and at times even had contact with the European Cup. In the end, the green-whites took 8th place. The highlight of the season, however, was the first-time entry into the final of the Coupe de Luxembourg , which was lost 3: 4 nE against league rivals RFC Union Luxembourg .
The following 2018/19 season began with a 6-1 home defeat against FC UNA Strassen . During the entire season, Hostert was on a relegation or relegation place where the team ended the season. The barrage game against the third of the honorary doctorate 2018/19 Swift Hesperingen won the "Gréngewalder" 2-0 and secured the league. After the game, René Peters ended his active career. He will take over the position of head coach from Henri Bossi for the 2019/20 season .
