The Football Club Union Athlétique Strassen is a Luxembourg football club from Strassen .

history

UNA Strassen was founded in 1922. During the German occupation of Luxembourg , the club was forcibly renamed FK Strassen . In 1944 it was renamed back to the founding name.

The club plays its home games on the sports complex (Complexe Sportif) "Jean Wirtz". This is just a lawn (capacity approx. 1500 standing places) with a small grandstand (capacity approx. 200 seats).

Since the club was founded, UNA Strassen has never played higher than third class. In 2011 he was promoted to an honorary doctorate for the first time . In this regard, FC UNA has significantly strengthened its position on the Mercato and signed, among others, the ex- F91 Dudelange central defender and national player Jérôme Bigard and ex- Racing striker and national player Serdjio Pupovac .

In 2015 the ex-national players Dan Collette and Michel Kettenmeyer were signed . With Ben Payal and Eric Hoffmann , two more ex-national players play for the UNA in 2016.
