The FG Dannstadt is a German football club based in the Rhineland-Palatinate community of Dannstadt-Schauernheim within the association of the same name in the Rhein-Palatinate district .
history
Time in the 1st amateur league
For the 1963/64 season , the first team succeeded in advancing to the third-class 1st Amateur League Southwest . With 33:39 points, the club finished 14th after this season. However, a single-digit table placement at the end of a season will never succeed. After the 1965/66 season you have to leave the league with 11:57 points over 18th and thus last place again in the direction of the 2nd amateur league.
Current time
In the 2004/05 season, the club played in the Speyer regional league and finished fifth there with 46 points. This league became the Rhein-Mittelhaardt regional league for the 2010/11 season. With 72 points, the championship and thus the promotion to the district class succeed here, from which one should, however, relegate immediately after one season. The district league has now become the B-Class, and at the end of the 2013/14 season they missed direct promotion. For the 2017/18 season, the club then merged with SpVgg 1951 Rödersheim to form SG Dannstadt / Rödersheim. There was no change in the division, as the SpVgg had also been relegated to the B-class due to the previous season. So the club plays in this constellation in the B-Class to this day.
