The 1st Soccer Amateur League Southwest 1963/64 was the 12th season of the third class 1st amateur league in regional men's soccer in the southern part of  Rhineland-Palatinate and a predecessor of the Soccer Association League Southwest . The 1st Amateur League Southwest was formed in 1952 by amalgamating the amateur leagues  RheinhessenWest Palatinate  and  Front Palatinate and existed until the 1977/78 season as the third highest league. After the introduction of the Oberliga Südwest in 1978 as the highest amateur league, the league was renamed "Verbandsliga Südwest" and was only fourth class from that point on.

The championship won Eintracht Kreuznach . FSV Oggersheim , SpVgg 08 Oberstein , TuS Altrip and FV Speyer had to go into the 2nd amateur league . For the following season 1964/65 came as climbers from the 2nd amateur leagues of SV Gonsenheim and SV Alsenborn and as relegated from the regional league of ASV Landau .
