The 1st Amateur League Southwest 1968/69 was the 22nd season of the 1st Amateur League and the 17th season after the merging of the seasons Rheinhessen , Vorderpfalz and Westpfalz . The championship was won by ASV Landau , who rose to the Regionalliga Südwest . The newcomers 1. FC Sobernheim and SC Hauenstein were relegated to the 2nd amateur league. The second newcomer, FV Germersheim , placed seventh in the middle of the table. Ludwigshafener SC , relegated from the Regionalliga Südwest, finished sixth and was 14 points behind ASV Landau. Last year's champion 1. FC Kaiserslautern Amateure, who was not allowed to advance due to his status, finished fourth this season.
