The 1st Amateur League Southwest 1969/70 was the 23rd season of the 1st Amateur League and the 18th season after the merging of the seasons Rheinhessen , Vorderpfalz and Westpfalz . The championship was won by VfR Pegulan Frankenthal , who rose again as a relegated member from the Regionalliga Südwest . The VfR Kirn and the BSC Oppau were relegated to the 2nd amateur league. The two promoted players from the 2nd amateur league, Viktoria Neupotz and FC Rodalben , managed to stay up.
