Status: end of season |
As champions, TSV Schott Mainz rose 18 points ahead of second, FC Fortuna Mombach, in the league . Due to their second place, Mombach was also allowed to take part in a promotion round, but there the team only placed second, behind FV 07 Diefflen , with which the team was not allowed to climb. The SV Southwest Ludwigshafen and TSG Kaiserslautern had to dismount after this season in their local league. The SG Blaubach-Diedelkopf had to file for bankruptcy after the season, but also relegated before that.
As a climber came next season from the national league as champions of FK Pirmasens II (West) and VfR Kandel (East). Between the runner-up in the regional leagues, TuS Rüssingen (West) and DJK-SV Phönix Schifferstadt (East), there was another round of promotion, which ended with a 0-1 win for TuS in the first leg in Schifferstadt and in the second leg in Rüssingen ended in a 2-1 home win. TuS Rüssingen thus also rose for the next season.
