The community is located in the Queich valley , three kilometers east of Landau in the Palatinate . The Neumühle residential area also belongs to Offenbach an der Queich .
history
Offenbach is mentioned in a document as early as 784, when Warandus made a donation from his property to the newly founded Lorsch Monastery on Bergstrasse.

Economy and Infrastructure
The corrugated cardboard manufacturer Progroup , based in Landau , operates a large corrugated cardboard plant in Offenbach an der Queich . In 1991, the company's first corrugated cardboard plant was opened in the village, which was shut down in 2007. At the same time, a new plant went into operation in the immediate vicinity. At the time of commissioning, this was the largest corrugated cardboard plant in Europe for heavy corrugated cardboard.
In Offenbach, the Daimler Group maintains an external location of the Global Logistics Center in Germersheim .
