plant

FORT work with everyday things that are copied, rearranged or alienated. Seemingly banal everyday occurrences are adapted and transferred to the exhibition space. The resulting spatial situations, objects and videos mostly have a subtly surreal character and, despite their supposed familiarity, awaken an atmosphere of eeriness, emptiness and abandonment. Often the objects alternate between poetic and humorous moments and play with the viewing habits of the viewer. The work was u. a. shown in the artworks in Berlin, the Kunsthalle Bremen and the Kestnergesellschaft Hannover.
