The FSC Mönchengladbach is one of the first independent German women's football clubs in North Rhine-Westphalia . FSC stands for girls and F rough soccer S port C lub.
The FSC Mönchengladbach was described by the then DFB President Egidius Braun on January 19, 2000 as a great talent factory in German women's football . So far, the FSC has produced six national players. The best-known representatives of this guild are Fatmire Bajramaj , Navina Omilade , Cansu Yağ , Barbara Müller , Nadija Inan and Christel Behr.
From 2002 to 2007 and in the 2008/09 season , the FSC played in the Regionalliga West .
The FSC currently provides a women's and several girls' teams.
