The FV 09 Bischmisheim is the football club of the eponymous district of Bischmisheim in the state capital of Saarbrücken . The 500-member club was founded in 1909. The heraldic animal of the association is the roebuck . The FV 09 plays its home games on an artificial turf pitch in the "Allmet".
history
The club was founded on February 28, 1909 as SC 09 Bischmisheim , followed by the forced merger with TV 1887 Bischmisheim to VfL 1887 Bischmisheim in 1937 . At the end of the Second World War , the club was dissolved and re-founded in 1946 as a sports and singing club in Bischmisheim . It took its current name in the 1950s.
The club had its most successful season in the mid-1960s, when the first team in 1964/65 with 41:11 points became champions in the 2nd Saar Amateur League, Group West, and thus qualified for the third-class Saarland Amateur League . There they occupied the penultimate place in the table in the 1965/66 season even before FC Ensdorf tied on points . Bischmisheim lost 3-0 against Ensdorf in the deciding game to avoid relegation. In 2008 the club was promoted to the Landesliga Südwest. In the 2009/2010 season in the Saar Association. At the moment the 1st team plays in the Landesliga Süd; the 2nd team in the district league A Südsaar.
