Fa Zheng

Fǎ Zhèng ( Chinese  法 正 ), court name Xiàozhí ( 孝 直 ; * 175 ; † 220 ), was an officer under Liu Zhang and Liu Bei .

He surrendered 213 Liu Bei and helped him in the conquest of Shu Han . After Liu Zhang surrendered in 214 , Fa Zheng was put in charge of the administration of the Shu District. In the year 219 he and Huang Zhong defended Mount Dingjun in the battle of Mount Dingjun against the Wei and defeated Wei General Xiahou Yuan . He died a year later.

In Luo Guanzhong's historical novel The Story of the Three Kingdoms , Zhuge Liang said of him, “If Fa Zheng had been alive, Liu Bei Wu would not have attacked . And if he had done it, he would not have lost. "
