Fabian Hergesell (born December 25, 1985 in Leverkusen ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Hergesell began his career in 2004 at Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the second team in the Oberliga Nordrhein . For the 2007/08 season he moved to league rivals Fortuna Dusseldorf , after being promoted to the regional soccer league, with whom he was promoted to the third and later to the 2nd Bundesliga . For the 2010/11 season he moved to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , but rose with the club from the second division.
At the end of the 2011 transfer period, Hergesell joined the NRW league club FC Viktoria Köln . In January 2012 he asked for his clearance and moved to the third division Prussia Münster .
For the 2015/16 season , Hergesell is moving to FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . After persistent injury problems and without having played a game in the 2016/17 season, he ended his active professional career in Erfurt in the summer of 2017.
