Fabian Hoffmann

Fabian Hoffmann (born December 4, 1964 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

After completing his legal training at the University of Frankfurt am Main , Hoffmann was admitted to the bar for three and a half years and worked as a freelancer in various law firms until he entered the higher judicial service of the State of Hesse in 1997. He was used as a probationary judge at the Friedberg District Court and the Frankfurt am Main Regional Court . In 2000 he was appointed judge at the Frankfurt / Main Regional Court. From 2004 to 2007 he was seconded to the Federal Court of Justice as a research assistant. His appointment as judge at the Higher Regional Court in Frankfurt am Main took place on February 1, 2008.

Since January 4, 2010 Hoffmann has been assigned to the X. Civil Senate of the Federal Court of Justice , and in the 2010 financial year also to the Xa Civil Senate , which was temporarily in place until the end of the year . From May 15 to December 31, 2017 he was a member of the 8th Civil Senate of the Federal Court of Justice with half of his workforce .

Hoffmann is married and has two children. He is a board member of the Working Group of Social Democratic Lawyers .
