Fabian Liesenfeld (born February 7, 1986 in Mainz ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Liesenfeld played in his youth for SG Guldental, Eintracht Bad Kreuznach and Hassia Bingen . For Hassia, he also had his first encounters in the active area. For the 2005/06 season he switched to the second team of 1. FSV Mainz 05 within the Oberliga Südwest von Bingen . There he received a contract with the prospect of making the leap to the professional team in the near future.

Liesenfeld completed the preparation for the 2007/08 Bundesliga season with the Mainz first team. There he convinced, so that he was equipped with a licensed player contract. From then on, Liesenfeld was still called up in the second Mainz team and only played in the 2nd Bundesliga . He was substituted on on the 18th matchday in the match at TuS Koblenz in stoppage time.

For the 2008/09 season he joined the VfR Wormatia Worms . In the 2009/10 season he played for VfR Aalen in the Regionalliga Süd . For the 2010/11 season he moved to Sportfreunde Lotte in the Regionalliga West . For the second half of the 2012/13 season Liesenfeld moved back to VfR Wormatia Worms in the Regionalliga Südwest . Due to the protracted injury to the midfielder, because of which his expiring contract was not extended, Liesenfeld had to leave the club in the summer of 2013 and was initially without a club. In summer 2014 he joined his youth club Hassia Bingen. With Hassia, he rose to the association league in 2015. In 2018 he was promoted to the league, with Liesenfeld scoring the winning goal to make it 1-0 in the 89th minute in the decisive promotion round match against Eisbachtaler Sportfreunde .
