Fabian Thülig (born September 21, 1989 in Bonn , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a former German basketball player . The 1.98 m tall player was under contract with the German basketball division Telekom Baskets Bonn . From the 2008/2009 season to 2011, Thülig also played under a double license for Pro B and later Pro A league club SOBA Dragons Rhöndorf . During the 2010/2011 season he became an integral part of the Telekom Baskets squad and was in the starting five of the Baskets several times at the end of the season. From the 2011/2012 season onwards, he only played for Telekom Baskets Bonn. After the end of the 2012/2013 season, Thülig asked to terminate his contract in order to be able to leave the club. He justified this with the wish to want to concentrate more on his studies in the future. For the 2013/2014 season, Thülig finally joined the Dragons Rhöndorf again in Pro B, for which he played from 2009 to 2011. After the end of the 2014/15 season, Thülig announced his retirement from competitive sports.

His younger brother Timo Thülig also plays basketball and was part of the SG Bonn / Rhöndorf squad for the 2009/2010 NBBL season .
