Fabien Gartner

Fabien-André Gärtner (* 1989 ) is a former German football player .

Life

Gärtner played from 1997 to 2003 for the Landsberg Express team , then in Munich for the NFA Monarchs (2003 to 2005). In the 2004 and 2005 seasons, the running back belonged to  the Königsbrunn Ants . In 2004 he made the leap from the regional league to the second league with the Swabians. In the run-up to the 2006 season, Gärtner joined the Munich Cowboys , thus moving to the top German division GFL . In 2014 he became European champion with the German national team. In the run-up to the 2015 season, he left Munich for Austria  and played there for the Swarco Raiders Tirolwith whom he became national champion. After a year in Innsbruck, Gärtner returned to the Munich Cowboys before the 2016 season. After the 2017 season, Gärtner retired from competitive sports.
